OUR RECENT PUBLICATIONS

All proceeds from book sales go towards the Farnham Theatre Association and to support the maintenance of FTA's theatre collections and archives, which we aim to have publicly available online in the future.

A fully illustrated history of the Castle and Redgrave Theatres in Farnham that were so significant to the town, to their ardent audiences and to the very many actors, directors and technicians that once worked there, many of whom went on to national and sometimes international renown.

The book is 7" x 10", is 130 pages long and contains interesting facts and intriguing anecdotes, all supported by many photos and illustrations, including a number in colour. Read reviews of the book here.

An insight into theatre that flourished in Farnham between the Wars and paved the way for the New English Players and the Castle Theatre. Includes interesting reflections on some of the characters and the life and times in that period 1928 - 1930.

This booklet is based on a donated photograph album, covering the period prior to formation of The Castle Theatre and reveals how an amateur company with professional contacts paved the way for Farnham's first professional repertory theatre.
