Playwriting Competition 2027

Aiming to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to tell their stories and to stimulate new work for the stage, the FTA is presenting a Playwriting Competition as part of the Farnham Literary Festival in March 2027.

 

Submissions for short plays are invited and will be read by a panel of three theatre professionals. Three finalists will be selected and their plays will be given a public read-through by professional actors at the Farnham Literary Festival next year. The deadline for submissions is 31st January 2027.

 

The winner will be chosen by audience vote and awarded a cash prize of £100.
